I am a multidisciplinary designer and maker with a background that includes architecture, sustainable design, and social enterprise. My creative work is influenced by the seaside landscapes and cultural artefacts of the places I have lived and worked which include New Zealand, Italy, Great Britain, and my home state of North Carolina.

My creative work is guided by context, ethical and sustainable practices which extends to jewelry design and production. All of my jewelry is handcrafted locally using recycled silver and ethically sourced materials.

Sustainability is fundamental to my practice which means I am mindful of the social and environmental impact and make designs that are classic, wearable, and meant to be loved for lifetimes.

Driven by the beauty of nature and sustainability my process is guided by zero waste design principles. The natural world provides us with so much and it is our responsibility to protect it. My commitment to working with trusted suppliers to source non-mined precious metals and findings ethically produced within the USA is a tribute to its resilience and symbiosis. I design with longevity in mind through classic durable heirloom pieces to be enjoyed daily across lifetimes and generations.

Before returning to North Carolina I was an educator in design for social impact. I apply these principles to all areas of design. in the wake of hurricane Helene, I created a silver pine charm to support the rebuilding of Spruce Pine and surrounding Penland community where my studio was previously located.
